At the 2024 Maker Faire in Hanover, we had our big debut — and presented our very first escape game. The response was overwhelmingly positive, which sparked the idea to create a second one, this time set in the Resident Evil universe.

The goal was to turn it into a project for schools, designed to make STEM subjects more engaging. Every step of the build was documented, and all components were prepared in a way that allows teachers and students to use them as the foundation for their own escape game projects. Since STEM topics can often feel a bit “dry,” using a familiar and exciting theme helps draw students in through something they actually care about.

The project received great feedback at Maker Faire 2025 as well, and several schools have already reached out. We’re currently in contact with a few of them to explore possible collaborations.

Now, we’re planning our next escape game — this time inspired by the Fallout universe. And here’s where you come in: we want to make the entire project open source, but we’re looking for creative puzzle ideas! The more unusual or crazy, the better — we’ll see what’s possible to bring to life.

We’ll be sharing the whole development process on our social media channels, so stay tuned — and feel free to send us your thoughts, feedback, or wildest concepts.
